America's Enemies At Home.........
How have we come to a point in this country in that we see so much hate directed towards America? America's values are attacked by everyone and at every angle. Our media refuses to report in a balanced way, the hard fought succeses that our troops have made in Iraq or are not reported at all. It seems to be the national and international norm to bash America and everything it stands for. This is taking place at a level of anger by citizens and politicians alike, that I have not witnessed before. Where does this come from? One would think that after 9/11 that we would be in far different place for America, a place where we are united against a common enemy. Instead we are making enemies of ourselves. This may even be something Osama Bin Laden never expected and surely he is thrilled with the fringe elements and extremists becoming the main stream in America..........................
Meet CA Representative Peter Stark. Before Congress' failed attempt to over ride The Presidents Veto today on the Children's Health Care Bill, the Congressman made a dispicable showing as an American and as a human being as far as I am concerned. Its a good thing Peter Stark is an atheist because he probably feels he won't have to answer to "anyone" for this hateful blather. What a sad day when we hear this from a member of our own government talking about the President in this manner. Stark says "Bush sends troops to death for amusement." Its all right at the beginning of this clip of his tantrum...

We are seeing this kind of hate building in society from top to bottom. Our buddy Jamie Allman had an eye opening post on his red blooded Bull Moose America blog yesterday and he brings more light to the back ward direction and the erosion of the American idea we are facing and how our media compounds the problem by digging for anything negative about the war and the fight of our lives .........

Does it seem to or occur to anybody besides me that MOST if not all the hate and venom being spewed and spit forth is coming from the left?? After reading several blogs and posts from different sites- and I mean many sites-it seems to me that most of the hate comes from the left which evokes hate and disdain from the haters on the right . Me...... Folks on the left that continually smear the right seem ,to me, to have "parts" missing.Harry Reid comes to mind rather readily especially the letter he wrote to Rush Limbaugh which is going to sell on Ebay for a rather large sum. Didn't Harry do something athletic in his youth, something that would account for his Faux Pas??? He played football or was a pugilist or some such. Some body should have made him wear a helmet. Now San Fran Nan I can relate to cause she is older than I and I'm 9 days older than dirt or is it baseball. And ole Babs Boxer, she of the vertically challenged has plenty to be angry about. I wonder what it is. Oh well my musings folks. Stay mad at the right stuff. W.
