George Washington in prayer...Some say that this story of Washington praying for his troops at Valley Forge is based in legend. Others say it is based in fact. Regardless it is a symbol of faith. Washington surely prayed for supplies to reach his men. These men at Valley Forge were after all, boiling their leather boots in order to get some sort of sustenance into their bodies until supplies arrived. What sacrifice and pure drive and resolve our early American's displayed.  What an incredible man, incredible general George Washington must have been to keep his troops together and behind his lead. Thank God he did.  

 Iraq surely is no Valley Forge. Although Some have labeled it "Our Vietnam" or a quagmire. Harry Reid just a few months ago had declared the war lost. How terribly wrong and odd is it that even our own American leaders cannot acknowledge the successes our troops are making. There have been reports coming out that Al-Qaeda has been dealt heavy blows. Reporter Michael Yon and his report of The Iraqi Islamic Party telling us that Al-Qaeda is Defeated , is winding its way thankfully through the blogosphere, with little or no help from mainstream media.

 Even with this good news. Even with the right under your nose success? There are those that refuse to acknowledge it. Many arguing still to this day.."Why did we go to Iraq?" "There were not any WMD's" on and on and on. So I ask,What now? What do we do with our successes??? We keep on fighting thats what we do.
