How Bout' Dem Cowboys!!

I had a conversation on the phone last week with my Army buddy in Wheeling WV. He is a huge Steelers fan, and any Cowboys fan knows the thorn the Steelers were for the Cowboys through the 70s and early 80s.  He asked me after the Cowboys beat the Brett Favre and the Packers handily...."Do you think your Cowboys are for real...... A resounding YES is the answer my friend. The Cowboys are back and a young Tony Romo is the bright light in Irving Texas Staduim... and part of a huge and legendary Dallas Cowboy History.......

Roger Staubach!!                Tony Dorsett & Co.         Drew Pearson!!!!!!              Randy White !!!!!!!!
  Roger Staubach II !!!

Troy Aikman Highlights!!!                        Through The Years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a great thing American football is.. It sure doesn't hurt when your team is winning... I've been through the ups and down with the Cowboys and I cherish the Super Bowl wins and remember the bad years. The Dallas Cowboys arguably are the greatest sports franchise in sports history. Loved and Hated. The Cowboys have played in some of the most legendary games in sports history. Why all the talk of the Cowboys????

As my friend asked...."Are your Cowboys for real?  They most certainly are and I expect a Championship...and dare I take it a step further and say that Tony Romo could very well be the next..........dare I say it????? Say it so early and SO now?????  The next............

??????   Tony Romo is showing all the signs of it......

Tony's Story Right Here.......... Yeah...You said it Tony... now you are 12-1.

Great sports and great teams matter.

Thx LT................

They certainly look like the team to beat in the NFC. Unfortunately for them, I think they're going to play second-fiddle to the Patriots this time around. They might be the best in the conference, but the NE Pats are THE best in the entire league. So revel in your team's success now. Come playoff time, they probably still have to get by the Packers, and if they are fortunate enough to make the Super Bowl, say hello to Tom Brady and Co.

Tony Romo has a LONG way to go to be considered among the elite quarterbacks of the game. LT, you know I love ya, but don't put the cart before the horse my friend.

Tony Romo is NOT Brett Favre.....or Joe Montana....or Tom Brady....or Peyton Manning....or Dan Marino....or John Elway....or Johnny Unitas....or Roger Staubach. One-and-a-half years as the starter does not make for a Hall of Fame career. He does date some hot chicks though, so you have to give him that.

    CG,

I never flatly said the Romo was the next Brett Favre, I only said that he is showing all of the signs of it.

As for Brady and the Patriots??? I hope they do win out in the regular season.. I want them in the SuperBowl..if there is a team that can beat them, it is the Cowboys.

    Viva La Romo!

    Thx LT...
