A Great 2008!! Happy New Year America!!!!!!!!

Happy New Year America!  I wish all of my friends here that visit America Matters a great 2008! We have so much going on and heavy issues to deal with as Americans. America has come to call worlwide on a scale we have not seen since World War II. We have just entered a year when we will elect our next President. We are still in a just war for our future.... What this year will bring, starts right now on this day. New Year's Day. Some may say this is just another day...It all depends on how you look at it.  I have at times been accused of being overly optimistic, I take that comment as a compliment. I know in my heart of hearts that through all of the turmoil and strife we see that America will prevail. We as a people and a country are blessed. It is not "fluff" or "ultra-patriotism" as some would call it. It IS the honest truth.

 Keep our troops and their families in your hearts. They are the very reason that since the beginning of our country's history, we are able to enjoy the great and wonderful things we do. God Bless them all...All those who have served, all those who are serving , those that will serve, and those that love them because of it.

 America will see triumph and success and it's idea will prove to be in the light of good. So America stand tall be glad and be happy! These indeed are still the "good ole days"!
