3200 Marines...Heading to Afghanistan

President Bush announced today that he has decided to send 3200 Marines to Afghanistan as a result of other NATO countries failure to send additional troops depsite their commitment to do so. Afghanistan, not very long ago was considered the "just war" by the left in America and where the rest of the world pointed to as where the fight on terror should be fought. Where are they now? Now once again America comes to call. Sending more of our fighting Marines to take up the slack for the lack of fortitude of NATO Allies. Eight NATO countries are to meet early February to discuss the new U.S. strategy with strong ally Australia at the lead. Meanwhile? Our troops will be on their way to fill the void, the decision has been made. How have we reached a point that, even with the hard and bold fact that the troops surge in Iraq has been incredibly successful and another step closer to peace...and yet we are denied or ignored by the world and our own? An infant Democracy is being created right in the heart of the Middle East, a Middle East that has been drenched in violence and turmoil for as long as we can remember, and yet America is denied the acknowledgemt of success? Despite all this America comes to call.
The myopia the deniers in our own country and around the world is hard to swallow and can infuriate one at times. Staying with our beliefs through this, is just another trait of being an American. What I mean is.. We need no thank you or acknowledgement of success. We have a higher sense and grasp on what freedom brings than most. Much of the freedom that exists in our world was brought by America....but not without a cost...and that is the times we are in. We drive on. We know our cause is just, and just like tough times like these from the past???? We soon will have proven our cause was just and with little thank you. This is why we truly are leaders and blessed. America knows what matters....we have lived it.

By the way.....What would you do if your were backed into a corner on the success of the Iraq troop surge??? Well if you're Hillary...just take credit for it!
