Super Tuesday.....Stupid Radio
On The Air...........................

Super Tuesday is bringing great news essentially for each candidate in each party tonight. The results as it stands and as I write are inconclusive, but rolling in by the minute. The pundits have once again made smacked asses of themselves with the call for Huckabee to be done tonight. It looks as though all of the candidates will survive Super Tuesday on all fronts. The Numbers will tell their stories as the night goes on and as the sun comes up in our hometowns....

I write in interest of Super Tuesday as an American but my main concern this evening is how this is all being portrayed by our political talk radio stations.

Rush Limbaugh and Laura Ingraham (and others), two people that I respect tremendously for their stance on conservative values and the legacy that Ronald Reagan has brought to the American conservative. Both have continually beat the Republican front runner, John McCain over the head because of his aisle crossing McCain-Fiengold Act and Gang Of 14 to mention a couple of issues. The venom spewed forth by these folks I can understand to a point and I agree with much of what they say. But Now? We have Ann Coulter Campaigning for Hillary Clinton (that is classic by the way). I see an ugly trend....a harmful trend.
We have a MEDIA created story fueled by Rush himself compounded by Laura Ingraham in A Letter To Rush From Bob Dole Hmmmm...Bob Dole is not a true conservative Laura??? WOW!
I see a conservative sect of the Republican Party that is displaying sour grapes and driven by talk radio. This opinion coming from a "blogger" who when in Somalia had two books with him, The Bible and Rush's "The Way Things Ought To Be"...I sympathize with their concern over true conservative beliefs and morals, but I think they are going way overboard and their egos as well, are taking hold here. They are slowly trying to turn John McCain into a socialist, throw him into the same category and quips they bestow upon the Clinton's and the Reid's of the world. This is going too far in my opinion.
I am not claiming to be a McCain voter or a champion for his cause...at least not all of them. But as I see and hear things unfold from these voices that I know and I respect and that I admire? I see an over-reactive take on John McCain a man that has served his country as a soldier and an elected official for most of his adult life and I am taken-a-back by the venom spewed by those behind the radio mic, voices I truly listen to. They may want to check their egos and influence at the door, because tonight John McCain is rifling through states on Super Tuesday like Grant through Richmond.
Thx LT........
