Happy 80th Birthday Fats Domino

I couldn't end the evening without saying Happy 80th Birthday to Antoine "Fats" Domino. Fats' music holds a special place in my heart.. in that my dad, a bust ass iron worker loved Fats. As a kid I claimed to despise the oldies and especially Fats because my old man loved his weekends and would blast Fats at 5:00am on Saturday mornings (not kidding!). Of course as time went on, my love for this man and his music came to surface. My own kids can tell you today if it's Fats on the radio, they know Fats. Fats' music was and is all American and he was right in the midst of the birth of Rock-n-Roll. He heavily influenced the Beatles, The Stones, and many many more.... He just seemed like a guy you would love to sit down and talk to, I can't recall a clip or picture of Fats where he wasn't happy and jovial and on top of the world. I love his music.
We all know "BlueBerry Hill" but Fats had so many other great tunes it's incredible. Here are a few I hope you listen to and just kick back a bit.....
