McCain's Citizenship Questioned....

The news today was just unbelievable, in that John McCain's citizenship is being called into question because he was born in Panama. John McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone and a son of military family. The thought that a man that was born of two Americans in an American controlled area is not a citizen? Is ridiculous. This could be an attempt by the Obama campaign, Clinton, or the staunch conservative end of the Republican Party that still keeps their heads in the sand and thrives on a paper thin right wing stance. Still shoving back the reality that McCain is the nearest and dearest to their beliefs. (Staying home election day?)

To even pretend that John McCain is not a citizen. Or to use our forefathers' intentions in this manner is disgusting and unfounded. We can battle if we must on McCain and his zig zagging between the political aisles...but no one can doubt that he is a true American and a hero. Whether it is McCain/Feingold or his views on immigration? To even fathom that he is anything but a true red blooded American is preposterous. Call him anything you like America.....but please call him an American.
Have we come so politcally crippled as Americans that our own citizenship can be questioned? God forbid though that we mention the middle name of Barack Obama or his attachment to less than admirable Muslim leaders......Is Obama Muslim? No. Is he an American? Yes. John McCain deserves the same respect and recognition for his service. The minute we tear down a hero's citizenship or service? The minute we as a country are in trouble..... We teeter on these standards.
