The New York Times Is A Cancer.....Their Report on McCain's Health

Is the New York Times not the most despicable once respected rag in American print media? They have uncovered top secret information in the war on terror. They have consistently and brazenly shown their true colors in a disgusting and unbalanced coverage. Now they print this article on John McCain and his on going battle with melanoma. Read The Article Here...

How intentionally disrepsepctful and backwards can a world wide publication like the New York Times become? When did we reach a point in print media that the words printed are worth as much in the grand scope of things and as trustworthy as The National Enquirer? The opening line in this tripe is the color of McCain's hair and his "puffy" cheek and the scars on the back of his neck! I am appalled at this rag's verbiage and scathingly viscious tone. It makes me sick.

How many folks that read this have had friends or family members who have succumbed or survived cancer? Almost everyone I would bet. What is the point of this article? The point is to make John McCain look like a man up in years and battling cancer.....an old man. Not only is this a disgusting attack against John McCain but it is also a slap in the face to cancer survivors and those with loved ones who deal with cancer daily. That's my opinion.

As Obama and Clinton snipe and rip each other apart in the Dem camp, and fight over experience and change and hope and all the nauseating rhetoric we wish would go away?.....John McCain has to deal with a rag creating an aura of a cancer "victim".... In the truest sense he is a cancer survivor and that to me just adds to his character given everything he has been through. Decades of governement service, 5 1/2 years of withstanding mental and physical abuse as a P.O.W. and now toughing it out through cancer and staying on top.

Hillary Clinton is spewing her self proclaimed dream of "35 years of experience" and her new battle cry of the "3am call" in a national crisis and proclaiming she has the resume to answer that call. Obama is continuing his fluff talk and march toward the political lyrics "The Candy Man Can"....... McCain has a long battle ahead, but when it comes to true experience? It's obvious to me in what camp experience is prevalent.
There was once a time when the press respected people's personal battles and judged them on true action and true experience....not any longer. Things are much different now and respect and honor change with the wind..  A true shame.

 Thx LT......

I read the article. What was disrespectful? Mr. McCain will be the oldest first term president if he is elected. He has had melanoma more than once. These are legitimate issues in the campaign. Are you more concerned about the President being healthy or are you more concerned about what his retired preacher said in the pulpit or her former fundraiser said about her opponent? I think their entire medical, financial and any other pertinent records should be open and released. Why, because they are running for the biggest job in the land and we trust them to be around for four to eight years. We also want to know that the Vice Presidential running mate is qualified enough to take over if they don't make it.

These are real issues. Too bad for those of you who think this is an attack.

    Acoustic Edge,

    Thanks for stopping by.

The New York Times is the same paper that blew the cover of the CIA's global attempt to freeze Al-Qaeda monies. They are far from being the rag that informs the public as a public service...They have an agenda.

In the above article they were attempting to make McCain look old and shine a bright light on his cancer battles. Anyone that stays tuned in, knows that McCain's melonoma is common knowledge....

I don't neccesarily think this is an attack, but rather business as usual in our crap media....Stay tuned because the folly of politics and the Presidential race is only going to get more disgusting with garbage media....More disgusting for both parties involved..

Again, thanks AE for voicing your opinion..

    Thx LT....
