CG's business is in the middle of having to move it's operation to another location. Thank goodness we've found a place just down the road that will accomodate our little piece of the American Dream.  If there's one thing in this world that really does suck, it's having to move! If there is anyone out there in blog-land that enjoys this sort of thing, I'd really like to know who you are so I can offer you this job. I hate it.........absolutely hate it with a passion. Taking stuff apart, lugging stuff around, finding something to put it in, making sure it's secure.........OH the joy of it all. And all of this joy is JUST over the moving part. I haven't even harped on the hoops one has to jump through to transfer business licenses, get occupancy permits, transfer phones, faxes, DSL, etc. etc. etc.........So much fun. There is a reason that the moving-and-storage business is handled by professionals, 'cause a guy like me won't stand for any of it. Paying a good, reputable company to pack your crap and haul it around is well worth it. And we're talking about a business (mine) that has only 2 employees. Imagine moving a business with hundreds of people........OUCH.........and all of their crap? No thank you!

There is one blessing to all of this though...........a lot of our stuff looked like this, so it was REALLY easy to move.


Can you say "dumpster" anyone? It's amazing how much useless crap gets accumulated after 3 years. Why did I keep all of this stuff? Oh well, it's gone now. Good riddance! I wish the rest of it was this easy. Throwing stuff away, now that's my idea of moving! Next time around......and I hope it's not for a LONG while, I'm hiring a professional to do this kind of work. http://www.twomenandatruck.com/  How's that for free advertising?

The is one very cool thing about all of this, though. Once we're in our new home, 'ol CG will be a mere 2 blocks form the LT. How nice.
