Obama Meets With Clinton

I have received quite a bit of disagreement and flack on my views of Obama considering Hillary as his VP.  I may be suffering from chronic Clintonphobia like so many? I don't know. I mean the Clinton's are like that terrible song that sticks in your head and plays over and over.  Today Obama and Clinton met in Hillary's Washington home. It was supposedly cordial and by reports Hillary was as peppy and approachable and kind as ever (first warning).... I can only begin to imagine the innuendo and baiting of Obama in this meeting.  Hillary surely made it clear in one form or another on how she and her following (and machine) can help (or hurt) Obama. An offer he can't refuse maybe? (Do you hear the faint sound of the Godfather theme?)

No one should expect Obama to say yes or no to Hillary at this point. However, I believe that as this race moves forward and the bitterness of the race between Obama and Hillary is left forgotten in the political dust? A scripted period of Hillary praising and coddling Obama and putting on her ultra- sweet (if it's possible) Hillary act is on the way. All of the fight between these two will be long forgotten and Hillary could very well be the VP candidate. How tempting this must be for Obama. If there is so much animosity between these two? Would they have met so soon? If there was so much animosity between these two? Wouldn't have Obama quelled the notion of her being thought of as his choice? He would want to get that media nightmare behind him right away wouldn't he?  Granted, she has not officially given her sleepy Hillary speech stating her next move yet I know.  I mean it's a given that she has got to grasp onto some last bit of limelight..... after all she IS a Clinton right? (Yawn)

It's also a given that Obama is thinking long and hard on bringing Hillary (and Bill) into the race. Let's not fool ourselves folks.  I don't agree with Obama's views, but I do respect him. I would respect him a hell of a lot more if he does NOT choose Hillary.... If he wants change. I am just not convinced yet.  Even with the reports coming out other wise? I am not convinced.

Thx LT.......
