Thank You John McCain..
I have really had a sort of reflection...Well, thought out reasoning on the direction that our country is going. I have learned over that last few years of blogging and commenting on other blogs, to truly listen and be open to all view points. I can honestly say that I have. I was not all that thrilled with John McCain as the nominee, I had a couple of others in mind for the Republican Party. Someone more forceful. Someone more defiant. John McCain was not the one I had in mind in some categories. I kind of sat back and reflected on my thoughts however. McCain has reached out and lashed out when the time was right in Washington. He has earned the respect of those on both sides of the fence... There is something to be said about that. There is a lot to be said about that.
His heroic character and courage in Nam is an absolutely incredible and amazing story...An incredible story that ALL Americans can respect and most do. Does that alone make McCain qualified to be President? NO. Absloutley not.... but given a quarter of a century in politics and with his service to our country? And a service in Washington that has grown apprecaition and affection from both sides of the aisle for McCain. I think he is most certainly more qualified than the opposition. It is really plain to see in my eyes.
