Best Time Of Year For Sports!

My best pal, CG had it right in the previous post...There is a lot going on in the NFL and I must say this is the best time of year for the sports fan. We here in St. Louis are also praying hard for our MLB Cardinals to get the Wild Card nod (although chances are getting slimmer by the day). This is a great time of year... October moves closer, the NFL will be in full swing, hockey is just beginning and the World Series will be played. Yeah Baby!
The NFL's game day here in the Midwest could not be better. As the chill of fall sneaks into the air and the familiar sounds of football reverberate through LT's bunker...It brings back the old days and great memories of NFL days past. My Cowboys will be on fire this year... You can never keep the Cowboys out of championship prediction for too long..They are a winning organization. I have a feeling they will be meeting the Patriots in this seasons Super Bowl. Of course anything can happen...There is always a dark horse to spoil things.
Not only do we have the intriguing Brett Favre story... but we also have a hero of mine in Kurt Warner starting for the Arizona Cardinals (Could they be the spoiler?) Matt Leinhart has been pushed back to back up and Warner (under appreciated) will get the start. Warner had a great season last year...all the while Leinhart was more interested in adding chics to his hot-tub count. Good luck to Kurt!
So yes CG....I AM ready for some football! As I write, I am trying to decide on hot wings or chili for gameday festivities....
