Another Word On 9/11
On the ride into work this morning with the reality of 9/11 and the memories coming back one by one... I started thinking about all of the ignorant comments and conspiracies that have smothered this day and it's tragedy. The media immediately jumped on President Bush and made fun of and ridiculed his reaction to the news of the attacks. Many have blamed President Bush,. There are even those that claim that Bush knew or even PLANNED these attacks. The whole nut job "black helicopter" crowd salivating all over themselves.
I was really taken back by the thought of 3,000 or our own dying and the countless heroic acts on this day...and yet we have idiots that throw any sort of garbage out there for their own agenda. How can ANYONE blame Bush? Or Clinton? Or Reagan? or Jimmy Carter? This was US...al of us as a country as a whole and our government's acts spread out through five decades. These Islamic extremists have ALWAYS been there. Even during the World Wars. This time they took our lifestyle and hid in it...They sucker punched us. We are STILL feeling the affects of it in every aspect in our society. Those that take this horrible day and make blame on President Bush or any other..Those that accuse him and give him credit for NOTHING? They are the sickest Americans on this planet. If you take a horrid and disgusting display of violence and put the source squarely on the shoulders of one President (six months in office at the time)??...That tells me that those that accuse in this way... hold their agenda and an anti-Bush fervor in higher regard than what and how 9/11 really took place and their love of country. Who truly hides in guise of patriotism here??
Anyway you slice it...This hasn't happened again since 9/11 and countless terror attempts have been thwarted. Let's take a look at those for a moment... Please

I personally am grateful for President Bush's leadership through this horrible time. He will..at least for awhile.. go down as the most maligned and under appreciated President in modern times. Our current candidates are using Bush at any given moment for gain or as an example of "Evil"..... The Surge is more than successful. Economists can't agree whether we are in a recession or not. Even though the media has talked recession for over a year! The price of a barrel of oil is about to go under $100 and YES we have been protected. I am not sure what this leftist crowd is seeing but it sure can't be failure in honesty, given the immense struggle and fight this President had. It is time for change, no doubt. It's time for a change in that we need to take things to the next level. That change is not kissing the ass of those that cheered in public or in private when these towers fell.
