Obama Shaky On Afghanistan

This war in Afghanistan he said was the right war. Pelosi, Reid, and Kerry, said this was a just war. If President Obama and the gang would just want to win it. During his campaign he was talking tough in regards to Afghanistan and he believed that Pakistan is the problem. Yet he shrugs it off and extends out the decision making process as long as he can. Is this because of deep thinking? Is he second guessing his Generals and those that have been in Afghanistan for years? I think it's politics, and I think it stinks and badly. At this very moment in Afghanistan we are attacking and destroying the enemy nowhere, we are defending neighbors and beating back the hornets and leaving the nests.

President Obama said today speaking to troops that "He will not betray trust like in Vietnam." I can appreciate that comment and I am glad that he said that. Yet,his officers have offered options for high risk and low risk strategy...He is trying to find a happy medium to please, which doesn't work in war. You want the war over sooner or later? President Obama's officials are also hinting that the President doesn't want take any current military options.

The Republicans are pushing him to make a decision sooner than later and the Obama Admin is comfortable with the pace of progress in this decision.

I think President Obama is surrounded by a horrid staff and terrible advisors. I think that President Obama should realize that this is much bigger than Chicago and it's style of politics and that he has surrounded himself with a bunch of "yes men".

President Obama has been everywhere, all over the globe, on the phones, and there is no doubt he works his ass off. Yet with seriously misguided advice and old style Chicago politics and politicians surrounding him, with even less of a clue?....President Obama's first venture in community organizing begins at the White House.
